Please note that residential garbage cart pick up will be on Thursday, October 17th following the holiday. Please put carts out early for Thursday morning pick up; it is a double route day.

The talented John Messer, who was front man for Moody’s Goose and the Johnny Messer Band, will be honored in a show that includes members of both bands and special guests. Messer, who passed away in April this year, was a charismatic vocalist who earned a following with Moody’s Goose in the early- to mid-1970s, then the Johnny Messer Band from 1981 to 1989. Moody’s Goose got its start at Pulaski’s Pioneer Club. Members of the Johnny Messer Band included Randy Littrell on lead and rhythm guitar, Jim Jackson on keyboard, John Marston on bass guitar, T.R. Williams on drums, Ted Garretson on trumpet and Randy Hartsfield on lead guitar. The band last appeared at a 25-year Reunion Show at the Crockett Theatre in 2015.

NOTICE OF HEARING
Notice is hereby given of a hearing before the Zoning Board of Appeals on Monday, October 21, 2019, at 8:30 AM in the council meeting room of the Lawrenceburg Municipal Building, located at 25 Public Square.
The board will hear the request from Faith Church concerning the property at Geri and Massey. They are requesting a Special Exception to place their church in a Residential-2 zoning district. A church is a permitted use through Special Exception. The zoning ordinance requires ZBA approval.
All interested parties are invited to attend.
