Lawrenceburg Municipal Complex to Remain Closed for Sidewalk Construction

Downtown Lawrenceburg

Lawrenceburg Municipal Complex to remain closed for sidewalk construction

LAWRENCEBURG, Tenn. – Construction on the grant funded sidewalk project in downtown Lawrenceburg is scheduled to begin this month. The project will be completed in phases, so only one quadrant of the Square at a time will be under construction.

The first phase of the project is on the south east part of the Square in front of the Lawrenceburg Municipal Complex. Therefore, the Municipal Complex will remain closed to the public until the sidewalk construction is completed in that section.

While the building will remain closed, the City, LUS, and the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce are open during regular business hours and will continue offering services in the same manner established for the COVID-19 pandemic. The drive-through lanes for the City and LUS located behind the Municipal Complex will continue to operate as usual. If you have questions, the following contact information will help you get the answers you need:

City of Lawrenceburg: 931.762.4459 or online at www.lawrenceburgtn.gov

LUS: 931.762.7161 or online at www.lburgus.com

Thank you for your understanding and patience during this period of improvement. With new sidewalks, our Square is going to be more beautiful and more accessible to all our citizens and visitors. We look forward to opening the doors and serving you inside the building soon.
