Department Manager Jerry Smith says, "It's our Number 1 priority to serve the public - keeping our streets safe and well-maintained. "Transportation on our city streets is an important part of our daily life, as we travel to work, school, shopping, and other destinations. Our well-trained employees are working hard to serve the public professionally and efficiently."

The Public Works Department is responsible for 110 miles of roadways across the City of Lawrenceburg, including road building, repair, and maintenance.
