Commission Meeting Minutes
City Of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee
April 18, 2002

A motion was made by Commissioner Pulley to approve the minutes of the April 4, 2002 meeting; with a second by Commissioner Gowen, the motion passed.

Mayor Lay encouraged everyone in the city and county to get involved in the spring clean up this Saturday, April 20, 2002.

Attorney Betz presented three ordinances and two resolutions to the commission.

Ordinance # 952 To amend Zoning Ordinance #789 to re-zone property owned by Bert Spearman on Robins Street from R-2 to C-5. Motion to approve on first reading was made by Commissioner Lindsey, with a second by Commissioner Gowen. Motion passed unanimously.

Ordinance # 953 To amend Zoning Ordinance #789 to re-zone property owned by David Hutton from R-2 to C-3 located on Crews Street and Massey Avenue, for the purpose of building a bowling alley. Motion to approve on second and final reading was made by Commissioner Lindsey, with a second by Commissioner Goolsby. Motion passed unanimously.

Ordinance #954 To amend Title 4 Chapter 701 etseq of the Lawrenceburg Municipal Code and Ordinance Number 623 entitled an Occupational Safety and Health Program. Motion to approve on second and final reading was made by Commissioner Gowen, with a second by Commissioner Lindsey. Motion passed unanimously.

Resolution # 2002-18-4A To declare surplus certain items of equipment for sale to public at public auction on April 27, 2002. Motion to approve was made by Commissioner Lindsey with a second by Commissioner Goolsby. Motion passed unanimously.

Resolution # 2002-18-4B To enter into an Inter-local Agreement with the Lawrenceburg Utility Systems Motion to approve was made by Commissioner Pulley, with a second by Commissioner Lindsey. Motion passed unanimously.

City Administrator informed the Commission that he would be planning some budget workshops in the near future in preparation for the 2002-03 Fiscal Year.

Beverly Horner with Kraft Brothers, the auditing firm for the City of Lawrenceburg presented and reported on their findings. The audit is available at the City Administration Building for public review, and on will be placed in the Public Library.

With no further business to come before the meeting a motion was made by Commissioner Pulley to adjourn, with a second by Commissioner Goolsby.
